How much will a ticket for the 2030 World Cup cost? Official prices will be set by FIFA, but we can already estimate the ranges based on recent editions. Here are the categories, the price gap between a group match and the final, and our tips for paying a fair price.
FIFA sells tickets in four categories depending on where you sit in the stadium: category 1 (the best seats, the most expensive) down to category 3, plus a reduced-price category 4 reserved for residents of the host country or countries. On top of that come the hospitality packages (premium seats, lounges, catering), which are much pricier and sold separately.
The price then depends on the match itself: the further the tournament progresses, the more expensive the ticket. A group-stage match stays affordable; a quarter-final, a semi-final or the final reach far higher amounts.
These ranges are estimates based on 2022–2026 prices, while we wait for the official 2030 grid. They give an order of magnitude, per ticket and in general-public categories.
| Stage | Budget category (est.) | Category 1 (est.) |
|---|---|---|
| Group match | €60–110 | €150–250 |
| Round of 16 | €90–160 | €250–400 |
| Quarter-final | €130–250 | €400–700 |
| Semi-final | €200–400 | €700–1,200 |
| Final | €400–800 | €1,200+ |
Official prices have not been published yet. Based on recent editions, a group match should start around €60 in the budget category, while the final can exceed €800, and far more in category 1 or hospitality.
